I am taking the liberty of securing these images under the Fair Use doctrine of the U.S. Copyright laws in the event that these images become unavailable on the web. These images are for the purposes of educating the public on the cult persona known as Guru Maharaji (aka Maharaji, Prem Rawat, The Lord of the Universe.)
It should be noted that Google Earth used to have detailed images of this region of Malibu, but at this point in time all detailed imagery is blocked. See image #1 below. The blocking starts at 30 miles up. Obviously, they don't want to provide any detail of Malibu. I would assume that people with money and power have appealed to the owners of Google to have the detailed images removed. It's interesting since you can get amazing detail of all the lower income parts of the Los Angeles area like Compton, Watts, East L.A., etc.
Therefore, I am making an effort to permanently preserve these images of Maharaji's compound. These bird's eye images provide a sobering glimpse into the massive lifestyle of Maharaji.
One must wonder from seeing these images how many of the surrounding homes belong to rich cult members to act as a buffer zone. One must also wonder if any of the surrounding homes are love nests for Maharaji's children, wife, or girlfriend.
I've been to the Rez on numerous occassions going way back to 1977 or so.
It's amazing to see what they've done with the compound. There's no other way to describe such a homestead. It's nothing but a massive cult compound. Ok, other than the fact that very few cult members are ever allowed on the compound this is still a cult compound.
